What is Threading?
Eyebrow threading is a depilation technique which originated in India, and is also widely practiced in the Middle East. The hair removal technique is not just for the eyebrows: threading can be used to remove other facial and body hair as well. Eyebrow threading involves twisting a piece of thread, usually cotton, into a double strand. This double stranded thread is used to pick up a line of hair and then remove it, creating a very clean, precise hairline. Because it removes hair by the follicle, it is a reasonably long lasting hair removal technique as well. Repeat visits after two to four weeks are standard. For women who would like to pursue a more natural beauty regimen, eyebrow threading is a good choice, since it does not use harmful products or artificial chemicals
What are the benefits?
1.Threading is all natural, there are no chemicals or artificial waxes involved. 2.Threading is less painful than waxing. It only targets the individual hair, therefore it keeps irritation to a minimum and unlike waxing which removes the delicate top layers of the skin, threading only takes the hair out. 3.Threading is safe for those who have sensitive skin and have severe reactions to waxing. It is safe and recommended by dermatologists for those who use medication such as Retin-A, Acutane, etc.Facial Threading Waxing
Waxing is an effective method of removing large amounts of hair at one time. In this method wax is warmed to allow it to be spread easily over the skin in the direction of hair growth. The hair becomes embedded in the wax, which cools and firms up grasping the hair. The wax is then quickly pulled off in the opposite direction of the hair growth, pulling the hairs out of the follicles. Cold waxes are available usually attached to strips, which are patted onto the skin. Wax that is still left on the skin must be peeled or scratched off.
